Hi Red Cross members, congrats to those who have finished their APs and CSTs! Hope you all are ready for some FUN now!!!
I. BIG MAC Friday 5/18

• Come to the Measle Awareness Carnival (Big MAC) at the Orange County Red Cross Chapter FRIDAY ! It starts at 4:30PM and will last until around 6:30PM!
• ADDRESS: 501 N Golden Circle Drive, Santa Ana CA 92705
• It costs $3 to enter the carnival, but with a single dollar you can save a life! So 3 dollars= saving 3 lives!! Every dollar has a significant impact
• Come to have fun, meet new people, and help a great cause

II. CAR WASH SUNDAY 5/20

• ADDRESS: 15991 Magnolia Street Westminster, CA 92683 (Magnolia and Edinger)
• Please meet up at the 7-11 by 10AM! The car wash will end at around 2PM
• Please bring any buckets, sponges, towels, soap, or anything that will contribute to the car wash! Dress appropiately, and don't be afraid to get wet

III. BANQUET

• Our banquet will be at Fire N Ice this year on Saturday, June 2nd! More information on the time and prices will be announced, but remember that the more hours you have, the cheaper banquet will be, so if any of you are low on service hours, we suggest you attend our car wash!!!

There are only a few weeks left, so make them worthwhile Red Cross members! (: And bring your cars out to our car wash! Have a great week!

MAY UPDATES!

Hi Red Cross members,

Since it is CST and AP Testing, we are still on our project and meeting break. We'll resume meetings on Wednesday MAY 16th, and projects will resume MAY 20th! So keep your weekends open and look forward to car washes and socials!

Additionally, we would like to congrats your new Red Cross Board for 2012-2013!

Spring Break Updates (4/11/12 Meeting Agenda)

Happy Spring Break RC Members! Hopefully you are all having fun and getting ready for this week's upcoming Saturday and Sunday projects!

I. Projects
A. Graffiti Paint Out SATURDAY 4/21/12
-CALL TIME 7AM!!! The project will last until around 12PM
- ADDRESS: 13802 newhope street Garden Grove CA
- Make sure to wear CLOSED TOED SHOES to keep your toes safe and sound; keep in mind that we will be working with paint so wear clothes that you won't be afraid of getting a little dirty
-  If you are under 18, PLEASE PRINT AND FILL OUT THIS FORM!!! Grafitti Paint Out Release Form

B. COLOR RUN SUNDAY 4/22/12
- CALL TIME 6:30AM @ Front Office! The project will last until 3PM
- ADDRESS: Great Park in Irvine

If you are parking at the location, pleaseprint out the first page of this document which is the volunteer parking pass. Also, there are more information on directions in this attached file :] volunteer parking

- We will be working either at water stations, or we will be throwing "colors" at runners (;

C. As AP Testing, SATS, and CSTS are coming up, we will be having a project hiatus for the weeks APRIL 29th - MAY 12th! :] So study hard Red Cross members!

D. Keep in mind that we will be having a Car Wash the weekend after AP Testing is done!

II. BANQUET
A. We would very much like your opinion on whether banquet should be held at Fire n Ice (where we have traditionally done banquet) or at TGIF's. Post your opinion on our LQRC page on FACEBOOK! If you have any other suggestions, please feel free to put that down as well! :]

III. LDC

I. SATURDAY APRIL 7th BAKE SALE @ Wells Fargo
-Remember that you get an extra hour for baking, and the more hours you have, the cheaper banquet will be for you!
- SHIFT I 10-12:30pm. SHIFT II 12:30PM-3PM

II. LDC Applications!
- There is a link for them in the post below! Very recommended that members attend! It's a life changing experience ! :]
